We use a unique blend of Urea, Lactic Acid, Ceramides, and goat's milk. It is more challenging to find formulas with all of these ingredients mixed together. We also believe in beautiful packaging that doesn't feel overly "pharmaceutical." Those with ichthyosis (scaly dry skin) deserve to feel luxurious. We aim to give much larger quantity of lotion than our competitors, without compromising quality ingredients.
Urea is effective for ichthyosis because it acts as both a powerful humectant that pulls water into the skin and a keratolytic agent that breaks down and sheds thick, scaly skin layers. Our formula combines Urea with thick moisturizing ingredients so that you don't have to mix creams, and it performs together. Lactic Acid also helps keratosis pilaris by acting as a keratolytic to dissolve excess keratin plugs and a humectant to deeply lock in moisture.
Goat's milk lotion offers deep moisture, gentle exfoliation, and soothing relief for sensitive skin due to its natural blend of lactic acid, fatty acids, and vitamins.
Ceramides are good for ichthyosis because they replace missing natural skin fats, fix broken skin barriers, and stop water from escaping. People with ichthyosis lack proper lipid layers, leading to dry, thick, and scaly skin.
